No sign up is necessary.

- Joining the community is free. Make sure when you sign up that you specify that you are a merchant, designer, model, or photographer. As a free merchant, you have all the same features as standard members. If you would like to be a featured merchant, or want to sponsor Trendiki in some other way, feel free to contact us.

There are 4 easy ways that you can choose from:
- You can save items after you rate them on Trendiki Runway.

- If you have a camera on your cell phone you can take a picture of your fabulous find and email them to us. Your unique email address is in your account information.

- Once you rate the item, simply click on the save link on the result section.
- This should open up a page where you can put some more detail information.
- Choose Trendi List which Trendi List you want to add it to or create a new one.
- Add your additional tags.

- All of your Trendi Lists including the most recent one can be accessed from your manage page once you sign in.

- Absolutely! Everything in Trendiki is public, unless you keep it private.
- Can I edit my Trendi List?Back to Top
- Of course, we don't want you to be stuck with those last season heels! Simply sign in and choose the list you want to edit. Once you have that open, you will see the "edit" button at the top of the page. Here you can change the name and description of the list, delete items from the list, add tags, or make your list public/private.
- Can I make my Trendi List private?Back to Top
- Yes, you can. Just go on the list you want to make private and click on the edit button at the top of the list. You can go back here to make it public again when you're ready to show off your style to other fashionistas!
- Why do I still see an item from my private Trendi List on the runway?Back to Top
- The same item can be owned by several Trendiki members. One (or more) of the owners must have kept it for public. But don't worry, because your screen name will not be associated with this item.
- Can I add items from another site to my list?Back to Top
- Absolutely! Our cool Spot-It button enables you to add items from other websites to your selected Trendi List.
- How do I get Spot-It Button?Back to Top
- Simply go here and follow the directions. It's really easy, all you need to do is drag the Spot-It icon to your toolbar and you're in business.
- How do I find my friends' Trendi Lists?Back to Top
- Good question! We actually have a search box where you can search for a specific item, specific Trendi List or a specific member

- Your fellow fashionistas must have slipped some in when they are collecting items for their Trendi Lists. We're working on a feature that will allow you to flag it and report to us when this happens. Just stay in tune and check back soon for an update!
- How do I rate images using my cell phone?Back to Top
- If your cell can access the web then you're in luck! Just browse to www.trendiki.com/wap on your cell and start rating.
- How do I add a photo to my profile?Back to Top
- To add a photo to your profile, first make sure that the image is saved onto your desktop, a CD, or a flashdrive. Then when you log onto Trendiki, click on the "My Trendiki" tab at the top of the page. The "My Trendiki" page will display another set of tabs, select the one that says "Edit Profile". Under the section that says "My Picture" click on the browse button and select the image file that you wish to upload. Click on the "change" button and that's it!
- What is RSS and how do I use it?Back to Top
- RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. It is a file format that is used for making information easily usable on different websites. A file with an RSS or xml extension can be picked up by other websites. For example, if you want to get automatic updates every time there is a new item from a specific list that you like, you can subscribe to that list by using RSS. Simply click on the RSS icon and follow the instructions

- Once a user subscribes to a feed, they are able to check for new content based on their Selection of retrievable updates. The content will be pushed to the subscriber through their RSS retriever.
- What is a Trendi FolderBack to Top
- Trendi Folders are for storing your Spot-It media. When you spot media on Trendiki, you can organize it into folders on Trendiki to keep track of your finds. Trendi Folders work the same way as Trendi Lists do for fashion. Trendi Folders are a great way to show off your favorite blogs to your friends, your most visited websites, or you can make a Trendi Folder for each celebrity's fashion style you like. Trendi Folders work in the same way as Trendi Lists, so if you have questions, refer to Trendi Lists FAQ.
- What is Trendi Mail?Back to Top
- Trendi Mail is Trendiki's internal messaging application. You can use it to send private messages to members on Trendiki. Using Trendi Mail is easy, just sign in and go to your profile page. Click on the Trendi Mail link and follow the prompts.
- Why can't I edit my profile anymore?Back to Top
- With the redesign of Trendiki, we had to limit the customizations to the appearance of Profiles compared to our original site. This was done to make sure that the text on the pages was still readable and people could browse the site. We are working on adding new customizations, so come back frequently to check if the Trendi Girls have added something new!
- How do I use my Trendi Blog?Back to Top
- You can use your Trendi Blog to express yourself by sharing photos, stories and fashion information with fellow fashionistas. It's pretty much like keeping a journal. To use a Trendi Blog you have to be signed up for Trendiki. Once you are signed up you can create your blog from your Profile here.

- Got something to share with everyone? Post a Trendi Bulletin about anything (ex: deals, sales, celeb gossip, fashion news) that you think everyone should see. Check out how to get Trendi Bulletins here.

- The Spot it button is a useful browser button that allows you to save something you find on another website and add it to your Trendi List or Trendi Folder.

- Once you have the spot it button installed on your toolbar, you can go to any of your favorite fashion or shopping websites.
- When you find the page with a fashion item that you want, simply click on the Spot-It button installed in your browser.
- Follow the Spot It wizard. For a fashion item, make sure you select the appropriate category or the item will appear in the wrong section of Trendiki
- Make sure the image is correct.
- Make sure the information for name, description, and price of the item is correct.
- Add your tags.
- Save the item to your Trendi List!
Tagging

Definition: 'Tagging' is the Internet's universal term for categorizing an item. Tags are like keywords or labels that you add to anything to make it easier to find.
You can click on a tag and it will take you to a gallery page with more items that are tagged with the same keyword.
- Why should I use tags?Back to Top

When tagging is done accurately, it creates a great ease for you and other users when you want to search items or contents on Trendiki.
You can be creative in tagging; for example, you can tag an item with keywords like "flat ballet shoes white patent Bebe" Later, when you look at that item, you can just click one of the tags and view all other items that have been tagged that way.

When you have a description with more than one word (example: shirt dress), be sure to use an UNDERSCORE to link the words together (example: shirt_dress). You do not need to place commas in between each tagged word, you only need to have a space in between (example: dress black twilight).
What kind of keywords should you add? Here are some simple guides to help you with tagging your fashions:
Who wears it: celebrity, men, women, junior, pet, etc.
What's the brand or who's the designer: Guess, Bebe, Bitten, Valentino, Oscar_de_La_Renta, Vera_Wang, Chloe, etc.
Where can I wear it: runway, wedding, cocktail party, sports, work, clubbing
What season and time is it for: fall, winter, spring, summer, night, and day
Color: pink, pink, and pink (hehe...we don't think you need that much of an explanation for this, right?)

- Tags are descriptive words you can add to help other fashionistas find and rate your item. Examples of tags are color of the item, season, style, and material. see more
Spot It Media
- What is Spot-It Media?Back to Top
- Spot-It Media is a community media platform dedicated to fashion. You can spot news, gossip, events, fashion humor, etc, from anywhere on the web to keep a list of your favorite fashion places on the web, and tell the rest of the Trendiki community about it. Using the same Spot-It Button you use to spot your fashion finds, you can spot your favorite fashion blog or website and create Trendi folders to hold all your content.
- What is the Love It Button and why do I want to use it?Back to Top
- The Love-It Button is similar to the rating system in the Window Shopping section. If you find something you like, just hit the Love-It button. The more people love the media, the more likely that content will show up on the front page of the Spot-It Media section. This makes it easy to find the best, most popular content on Trendiki. Trendiki editors don't pick their favorite content; it is based on what YOU like! So, if you really liked that blog on this season's hot new handbag, make sure you hit the Love-It Button.

- Easy, just get the Spot-It Button installer. Download the installer and run the program. It will install a button on your web browser that will allow you to spot your favorite web pages and fashions

- Some emails can occasionally be caught in the spam filter. To prevent this from happening, simply save our email address (info@trendiki.com) onto your address book and it will send emails from Trendiki straight to your Inbox.

- Click on the "forgot password?" link on the sign in page. This will take you to a new page where you can enter your email address and we will send you a link to change your password.

- Under "My Trendiki" simply, click on the "My Account" tab and change or modify your information. Click on the "Update" button and that's it!

Good catch! We like fashionistas with a good eye for detail. You can sign in and go to the "manage" page and fill in your shipping address. Don't forget, that you must give Trendiki a valid shipping address in the United States within 30 days of registering with Trendiki. As the promotional item Terms & Conditions states, after 30 days the user forfeits their rights to the promotional item.
Once we receive your address it is kept confidential.
